One of the things I miss to do. . .

Its always been a pleasure taking photographs of such an amazing people. I made a few compilations of some awesome portraits that I took way back then and photos that I took recently. This is one of the reason why I love taking people’s portraits. Every person has it own unique style and personality. Their expressions are fascinating in their unguarded moments. It reminds me of Manny Librodo( a famous portrait and travel photographer in the Philippines) of his teaching. He was an inspiration and a good mentor. Although his style is unique from mine, the concept of his teaching still stick into my mind.

Our First Visit to Reno,Nevada

At first i know nothing about “Reno”. My wife told me there is an awesome package they are giving this month. So I browsed it on the web and they offer free accommodations for two days in Grand sierra hotel!!,isn’t it great? Then finally realized when i was booking it that this place is in Nevada. I came to imagine Las Vegas with all the bars, casino, dazzling lights and beautiful, glamorous people. We have a long drive on the way there, witnessing county lifestyle, unusual houses and architectures and a sudden snow way ahead. When we finally reach our destination, the hotel that we checked in was somewhat isolated from the city. Its okay because the hotel was huge and a whole package of amenities and entertainment to choose is there, from casino, buffet, bowling, movies, spa, package tours etc. I even realized that Reno was known for ice skiing enthusiast like me Joke!!. The following day we headed to complete our itinerary, we didn’t get any of the package but me and my wife enjoyed the exploration together with our own effort. Here’s a sweet glimpse of our visit to Reno, Nevada.

San Francisco Road trip

So this is how it feels like to be strolling around downtown of SFO?!! It was a fine sunny day, a perfect day trip to the higher city. Exploring the city was a new experience. We headed forth fisherman’s wharf which is our first stop.A place known for sea foods like dungeness crabs, lobster, salmon, clam chowder etc. and seaferry tour. Its quite interesting coz the place were pack of tourist busy documenting the whole shebang.Im glad that I was never left out curious about this place. At last,I was able to see the Historical Alcatraz and sealions in the wild. Our gastronomic exploration was to die for.The food was great at “BOUDIN”, a resto famous for their ancient clam chowder in a sourdough. Not only that the service was good but we also treated as VIP’s. The second stop was at the famous bridge “THE GOLDEN GATE”.Once again there were cyclist, tourist, adventure lover and lovers likes us who went to dip an experience into this one of a kind llandmark..And mind you it was not easy to be in SFO,the streets were steep and Hilly. It was crazy driving there. No wonder my wife really prepared herself for this trip.Inspite of this adrenaline-pumping experience it was fun and a beautiful memory to keep.
