With my busy schedule, sometimes I dont have the luxury of time to looked for a perfect photoshoot venue that fits to my clients preferences and personalities .But whenever a client would ask me whats the best place to hold a pre-wedding or family photo shoot , the first thing that comes to my mind is Saratoga California. The serene, homey, romantic atmosphere makes me want to come back there often. Its like a one stop shop and everything that you need is there.
Ive been to many beautiful spots and gardens in saratoga. The first time I went to Hakone Garden was with my family. I told myself this is the place I wanted to shoot next. The zen calming feeling of this place was amazing and I can’t wait to do a photo shoot there someday.
So when Jacqueline emailed me that she wanted to do her pre-wedding shoot with me,I was so excited. There were lots of ideas coming out on my mind that time. I even did a little research of Hakone ‘s colorful history. Getting to know the place better fueled my excitement more. And whats a better time to shoot than spring. So on the first day of spring, we did the pre wedding shoot . The weather was just perfect. Just the way I wanted it to be. The place was blooming with so much greens and pretty foliage that surrounds the garden. I love the walkthrough bridge in the center of the mini pond. And whats not to love the cascading mini waterfall as well. It compliments everything about the place. So much calmness. All the elements are there. Feels like yin and yang at its best.
I had a wonderful time with them. They had been together for so many years and making them posed in front of the camera wasn’t hard at all. It was my first time to meet Francisco but damn he rocked that day. The natural moments was just so overflowing and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding soon.
